I am Shyamala U, 69 yr old woman who had a fall 4 months back. I had severe back pain and found it difficult to get up from bed and do other regular activities. An orthopedic doctor I consulted diagnosied that my spine had a compression fracture and advised that I wear a brace. But there was no relief from my pain. My daughtet after online search zeroed in on Dr. Karunakaran. He is a down to earth person. He listened patiently when I explained my difficulties due to the pain. His kind and encouraging words gave me the courage to go through D11 to L1 percutaneous pedicle screw fixation done under GA which was decided after a series of tests, x rays and scans.
After the surgery on 17th Aug 2021 his advices and approach were extraordinary to me. His team of doctors is also excellent.
Post surgery I felt immense relief from pain within a couple of days.
So I strongly recommend Dr. Karunakaran for any spine related problems and one can rest assured of positive outcome within a short period.

Am taken xray but thats too normal after that prescribed medicine.. till now am not get to know what is the issue by their experience

I had been to hospital and it was for health issue. Doctor was calm and he spoke gently. I can recommend doctor to my family or friends. I am satisfied with the explanation and treatment given. Medicine was prescribed by the doctor. Scanning was done. I had spinal related issue. There was some waiting time in the hospital as doctor was attending surgery when I went. I am good and comfortable now. Hospitality was good.

I had been to the doctor as I was suffering from back pain. The doctor was very friendly and supportive. Only medication was done. I had done an X-ray, MRI before. The doctor examined and did medication. Later I was able to see improvements after treatment. The waiting time was half an hour to 45 minutes. I am satisfied with the treatment given. We got an excellent treatment from chief Dr. Karunakaran and his assistant Dr. Satish Balaji (ortho). The patient was abandoned by well known ortho hospital of Coimbatore. We heard about this hospital and came to check up. They diagnosed the patient and described the status of patient and told us how will go surgery . We have left and took some time to get surgery. After decided to go to surgery. We have arrived hospital and get admitted. Surgery was done and patient went to critical stage. We lost hope but the doctors didn't. They gave excellent treatment second by second and patient return to normal stage. I especially thanks to doctors and co ordinator Mr. Shiva. Keep going.
