Dr. K.S. Ramya is an excellent gynecologist who provides compassionate, patient-centered care. She listens attentively and explains things clearly, making patients feel comfortable and reassured. The clinic staff were helpful and the environment was good, but the wait time was longer than expected. It would help if appointments started on time. Though this review comes a little late, I felt it was important to share my heartfelt experience. I delivered my baby during September 2025 and from the very beginning of my pregnancy until post-delivery, Dr. K. S. Ramya stood by me with immense care, patience, and support. She treated me not just as a patient, but with genuine compassion and reassurance, which made a huge difference during such an important phase of my life. Her calm approach and constant guidance gave me complete confidence and peace of mind. Along with her wonderful and caring team, she ensured that my delivery journey was smooth. I will always be grateful to Dr. Ramya for helping me bring my baby into this world safely.

Dr. K.S. Ramya was very brilliant in her analysis and handled my operation expertly. She is very experienced, which gave me a lot of confidence during my visit. Overall, it was a positive experience.

I would like to share my experience in detail.

Short review :

Myself and my wife blessed with cute little twins (boy-girl) on 24.03.2019 (C-Section).From day-1 my wife and babies were under the care of Dr. Ramya and still are.I have interacted/consulted with few of the top gynaecologists in chennai and with all due respect to all of them, Dr Ramya is the best in terms of professionalism, availability and personal care.I would highly recommend Dr Ramya for pregnancy care and delivery.

Detailed experience :

We visited Dr Ramya just for pregnancy confirmation (based on one of my friend's referral).We thought of researching on good gynaecologist and hospital, post confirmation.On our 2nd visit, Dr. Ramya confirmed that we have twin conception.She is visibly excited like us.

Doctor explained clearly what to anticipate (in terms of complications) and what additional care required for twins.Doctor explained that we had DCDA twin (two different sacs) and the difference between single sac and dual sac twins.

Even though, there is no feed back for any twin delivery for Doctor, we wanted to continue with Dr Ramya purely because of her professionalism and personal care.

Doctor constantly kept monitoring vital parameters at regular intervals (sugar,CBC,TSH) and prescribed suggestions based on that.Doctor didn't prescribe anything apart from Vitamin and Calcium supplements. Any other nausea/Vomit, infection/antibiotics medications will be prescribed for very short duration whenever its needed.We got clear explanation on the uses and effects of medicines prescribed (which is very rare to see).

Apart from NT, Anomaly and interval growth scans and vital blood tests, doctor never prescribed any other unnecessary tests/scans.

Doctor prescribed exercises and postures to aid normal delivery.We waited till 36 weeks but kids position was still in transverse and doctor showed that in scan and explained clearly on the complications of pushing for a normal delivery.Since its twins, we can't wait beyond 37 weeks.So we decided to go with C-Section.

Like pre-delivery care, we had a smooth experience in delivery and post delivery as well.Doctor made sure that all precautions are taken care (like blood reserve and other crucial things) and also our kids get senior paediatrician attention.

We thought, we had to stay in hospital for 4-5 days since its C-section.To our surprise, doctor asked us to discharge on 3rd day morning itself.We had a post pregnancy checkup 7 days from delivery in clinic and stitches were removed.Now mother and two little ones are doing good and healthy.

Even though delivery got over and kids are handed over to paediatrician, she constantly consulted with paediatrician and updated us regularly(very hard to find such care).

Our heartfelt thanks Mam for all the care.You owned this delivery from Day-1 and made us feel safe and confident.

Few good qualities needs to be highlighted :

1. 24 X 7 availability

2. Time spent on each patient, listening patiently and explaining things in layman terms.

3. Gives thought about patient's financial expenditure as well.She will make sure to cut all unnecessary expenses and make it as cost effective as it can.

4. Building proper trust with patients (which is the utmost necessity for long term treatment like pregnancy)

5. No false information or extra pampering.

6. Having history/information of patients in top of mind.(Doctor perfectly recollected my wife's LMP and CBC values couple of times, without looking at the history!!)

Unfortunately, my experience at Dr. Ramya's gynecologist clinic was deeply disappointing. Despite multiple requests, I encountered significant issues with receiving my reports and files promptly. Furthermore, the lack of professionalism was evident in the absence of clinic letterheads on bills and receipts, which were printed on plain A4 sheets with faint toner ink. This lack of attention to detail and failure to provide essential documents undermines trust and reflects poorly on the clinic's standards. I hope these issues are addressed promptly to improve the overall patient experience.

Regrettably, scheduling appointments at Dr. Ramya's Diya clinic was an exercise in frustration due to the unresponsiveness of the staff. Despite repeated attempts to book appointments, I encountered significant delays and lack of follow-up from the clinic staff. This lack of responsiveness not only inconvenienced me but also reflects poorly on the clinic's organization and efficiency. Improved communication and responsiveness are essential for ensuring a positive patient experience, and I hope this issue is addressed promptly for the benefit of future patients.

Visited for my wife's pregnancy related issue firstly we were visiting one of the top doctor here in chennai where she suggested only iui or ivf is possible for my wife to get pregnant wasted one year with that doctor and when we were in a difficult sad situation googled some doctor and google suggested Dr. Ramya Mam and we thought to visit her and see how things are going how she treating from the first day of the visit my wife was very confident that she found out the best doctor in her life.She told to do some test where other hospital haven't done the test and directly suggesting for iui /ivf and all my test was in favour to conceive naturally.Dr.Ramya Mam told to give 6 months of time to get pregnant but within 3 months of time my wife got pregnant naturally with pcos.In wife's pregnancy journey she had short cervix in her 3rd month scan and Ramya Mam suggested to do the cerclage and we listened to her opinion and did the cerclage and it was a good decision. During her pregnancy my wife had both bp and GDM and all those were handled very well by the doctor. Mam told to do daily bp monitoring and send the updates on her WhatsApp where she is actively willing to help us with any doubts. Finally, my wife delivered a baby boy through LSCS with other complications in her pregnancy, everything was handled perfectly by dr Ramya Man. Ramya Dr. is extremely professional, I don’t have enough words to thank Ramya mam for everything she has done for me! I delivered a baby girl on May 17’2021 at Prashanth hospital. I have been married for 3 years. Me and my husband had difficulty in conceiving and hence we decided to get treatment for the same. We checked practo and got to know about Ramya mam and met her for our pregnancy planning. In the first consultation she explained everything clearly and I loved her professional touch. That was when I got confidence in Ramya ma’am’s treatment. We had a couple of follicular study and I conceived. But unfortunately It ended up in termination due to no heartbeat found. Since I had a other health concern doctor advised me not to delay the pregnancy and she suggested us to go for IUI, as my husband had motility issues. I underwent IUi and by God’s grace got conceived in September 2020. Ramya mam very well assessed me and she knew about my anxiety levels and she handled me so cool. She never got disturbed or never changed her course of action due to my anxious questions or anxious doubts. The entire pregnancy went smooth for me. Due to my personal choice and ma’am’s professional advise I underwent C- Section same day around 12 pm I delivered a girl baby and my whole family is now so thankful to Ramya mam. In the last few weeks We had a whatsapp group and mam was there clearing all our doubts, She encouraged me to ask questions in the group even after delivery. I am so so so thankful to Ramya mam.
