Consulted Dr. Ammaiyappan at MGM Malar Hospital for persistent cough with wheezing not responding to antibiotics. He was very patient and his treatment was very specific. He is the right doctor for lung infections, particularly pneumonia or TB.

From admission to discharge he kept us informed on every test and treatment given. He was our guarding angel during those difficult times.

And he took me under his wings, when I came to him, I was clueless with an unresolved post surgery issue (my surgical wound was only partially closed and healing was delayed by an year) he immediately diagnosed that my issues were relating to undetected dormant TB. He immediately put me under EPTB treatment. He monitored me with monthly tests and clarified my doubts then and there. Here I am after a year of TB treatment, healed and completely cured.
