I was admitted to Emergency at MGM Malar Hospital in a critical state. I was attended to immediately and Dr. Ammaiyappan took over the entire process, from performing a bronchoscopy and aspirating my lungs, and recommending the required tests and scans.

The diagnosis was acute allergic pneumonia, and Dr. Ammaiyappan very patiently and pleasantly explained the condition and the course of treatment.

The follow up reviews were also very pleasant and reassuring, and I have recovered well, thanks to him and the excellent care that I received at the hospital.

We consulted Dr. Ammaiyappan for my mothers Asthma problems. We visited many doctors and struggling to find a solution. After meeting him, my mother started showing good progress within days of his treatment. We found the root case of her issue and now we are moving towards a permanent solution.

From admission to discharge he kept us informed on every test and treatment given. He was our guarding angel during those difficult times.

And he took me under his wings, when I came to him, I was clueless with an unresolved post surgery issue (my surgical wound was only partially closed and healing was delayed by an year) he immediately diagnosed that my issues were relating to undetected dormant TB. He immediately put me under EPTB treatment. He monitored me with monthly tests and clarified my doubts then and there. Here I am after a year of TB treatment, healed and completely cured.

I took my 80 year old mother for lung related issues as she was suffering from severe allergies and.more. The doctor was thorough in his clinical diagnosis. He ordered all the ********* tests and was able to come.up with an effective treatment plan. She is currently feeling much much better and on her way to recovery.
