My father had undergone complicated anal reconstruction surgery when he was 11 months old in Trivandrum. Now, he is 64 years old, and have been remaining with good health.Last month, he suffered from severe stomach pain and constipation for a week. We consulted our doctor in Trivandrum and as per advice, took a scan to find out that there is some growth in his rectal wall and was given enema temporarily to releive constipation issues and was recommended to consult a Gastroenterology surgeon. I took them to Dr. Kamalakannan for consultation. He listened patiently to everything what we had to say, learnt my father's medical history, examined my father and explained everything very well and said there seems to be no worrisome problems. Anyways to confirm, he advised to take a pelvic CT scan and results showed that there is no such growth. Doctor's examination was perfect and matching. Still to reconfirm, he conducted a colonoscopy and confirmed that my father is perfectly alright. He prescribed very few medicines for constipation and motion control. My father was very happy and finally, we all got peace of mind. We are highly grateful for his unblemished service.

I know Dr Kamalakannan for more than an year. He is a wonderful person who patiently listens to the problems, explains the issue to the patient clearly and provides the solution. He is very knowledgeable and despite all the experience, he is a very humble person. A unique character which is rare these days. My father underwent a surgery to remove a tumor. Although the tumor was in a very difficult place and would required a removal of the pancreas. Dr Kamalaratnan very skillfully managed to remove the tumor and create a bypass. He not just saved the pancreas but also performed a 6 hour surgery without blood transfusion both before the surgery and during the 19 day stay. Dr took the time to explain the process day to day condition and also any procedures required to both the patient and family. I strongly recommend the service of the doctor.
