Dr Sumit Kumar Gupta is currently practicing at Psychiatry Clinic, Pitampura (Monday to Saturday 9am-1pm and 5-8 pm.Dr. Sumit Kumar Gupta has been trained in top ranked Medical Institutes of India. He completed his MBBS from University College of Medical Sciences and associated Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital and MD in Psychiatry from Maulana Azad Medical College and associated Govind Ballabh Pant Hospital (Now renamed as GIPMER). He has 17 years of Clinical Experience in Psychiatry.Dr Sumit has served in various capacities as Senior Resident, Consultant and Assistant Professor at the NABH accredited, apex Behavioural and Neurosciences Institute of Delhi - Institute of Human Behaviour and Allied Sciences for more than 8 years. He was associated with Max-Pitampura as Sr Consultant Psychiatrist (2017- 20).He has authored and presented many research papers in National and International Journals and Conferences, besides authoring chapters in medical books. His research has been cited internationally. He has keen interest in Community Service and has participated in various Community Awareness Programmes at several Public Places & Schools. He has contributed through mass media (Television News Channels, Radio and Newspapers) in dispelling the myths surrounding Behavioural Disorders and promoting rational views. He has been appreciated for his services by IHBAS on Doctor’s Day (2017). He has also been recognized several times for his social & humanitarian service by NGOs and Medical Societies.
