Dr. Shweta Upadhyay

I had been visiting Dr Shweta Upadhyay ma’am from first trimester, she has been a pragamatic and motivating doctor where her decisions play a key role in our well being. She had been strict with me about my weight gain , diet and workout so that I can have a normal delivery. I also strictly followed every instructions of hers . On Jan 9th my contractions started and continued from mild to little severe . Doctor had already prepared me as to when to goto hospital when contractions come. 10th evening my contractions were severe and I was 2 cm dilated . Doctor asked me to get admitted . Jan 11th early morning I got admitted , my pain got intense but I did not get dilated more than 2 cm. Around 11 am ma’am induced my pain and broke my water by 1.30 pm . I had requested for Epidural but Shweta ma’am encouraged me to bear the pain and not go for Epidural , she even promised that i will have my baby my 3pm . I agreed to ma’am’s decision and withstood the pain, due to prolonged labour pain I couldn’t push harder and My baby’s BP was fluctuating therefore ma’am used vacuum to get the baby. Doctor helped me deliver a healthy baby boy . Not only doctor others in the OPD were also supportive . Million of thanks to Shweta ma’am for being there to help me deliver my baby .

Ma’am also gives us suggestions on insurance etc, it adds value in saving some money . She is friendly and promptly responds to all your concerns and queries . I would recommend her to everyone who’s looking for the best gynaecologist. Thank you again doctor .

I visited Cloudnine hospital-Vashi with an appointment to meet Dr. Shweta Upadhyay during my 1st week of pregnancy and since then I am connected with Dr Shweta even after delivery. Apart from being a skilled, talented & experienced Gynaecologist, Dr. Shweta is an amazing human being who makes a personal touch with her patients. My journey of pregnancy had never been that easy without the treatment, care and guidance of Dr. Shweta. Since the 1st check up till delivery Dr. Shweta tried her best for a normal delivery. She always gave ample time addressing each & every query I had & she boosted my moral at all time like a great friend. She always advised me to stay healthy with appropriate diet plan and exercise during my pregnancy for a normal delivery and healthy Baby. In my case, my newborn baby had severe complication which needed highly specialised surgery of my Baby on day one. She helped me connecting with one of the best paediatric surgeon of Mumbai. Dr. Shweta was in constant touch with me till my baby got discharged from hospital with complete cure. We are really glad that we chose Dr. Shweta Upadhyay as our gynaecologist. This was our first pregnancy and the previous doctor that we had visited prescribed progesterone tablets (susten 400) in my very first visit and also did not tell about any blood tests. So we went to Dr. Shweta for a 2nd opinion. She did not give any unnecessary medicines and also asked for a detailed blood test which helped diagnose thyroid deficiency. Because of her, my condition was diagnosed at the right time.

She recommended relevant tests and guided us properly at every stage of the pregnancy. We had originally planned to get the delivery done from a nearby doctor, but the doctor scared us and said that our baby size was less and again prescribed heavy medication, despite the sonography report mentioning that the baby weight was normal. So we went to Dr. Shweta for another opinion and she told us that nothing was wrong with the baby.

After this, we decided to stick to Dr. Shweta for the delivery too since we were comfortable with her. Dr. Shweta is calm, cool, friendly, experienced, up-to-date and provided the right guidance always and patiently answered our queries. She did not prescribe unnecessary medication during the entire time. The delivery went very smoothly and both baby and me are perfectly fine. On my due date 30th April my contractions started and continued from mild to little severe .Doctor had already prepared me with preg contraction knowledge. 1st May morning ma'am suggested to get admitted . After providing some pains after admission I was delivered with a baby boy at 2 pm. . Shweta ma’am encouraged me to bear the pain she supported me in OT like my elder sister her motivation and support in OT was tremendous , she even promised that I will have my baby my 2pm. I agreed to ma’am’s decision and withstood the pain, due to prolonged labour pain I couldn’t push harder and therefore ma’am used vacuum to get the baby. Doctor helped me deliver a healthy baby boy . Others in the OPD were also very supportive .mental support provided by them was very helpful. Million of thanks to Shweta ma’am for being there to help me deliver my baby. When we rushed to the hospital, the on-call doctor Dr. Anjali casually asked us to get admitted without any explanation. Throughout the entire delivery, Dr. Shweta was practically invisible. I visited this doctor on 16th October 2017,she prescribed me some test. But due to pre period pain in stomach I couldn't go for tests. I have been waiting for period clearance as normally we avoid many things during our period cycle i.e.medicines,yoga,gym,blood test etc etc. So I went for prescribed test on 28th October... I got the reports from clinic on 30th October. So immediate after receiving the test reports I went to her on same day..at reception they told that I may pay for this consultation if doctor insist, I argued that this is under session, I being here just for test reports checking, just 14 days back I registered with Rs. 650/-and nowhere in money receipt or doctor prescription mentioned the terms... Then I wait for almost 1 hour as doctor was not bothered to make us waiting being sitting idle inside and in the mean time I saw 1 patient, who came after me entered inside doctor chamber w/o any coupon. After sometime once again I saw another patient was trying to enter her room. I went to reception and told the facts. They told I thought doctor is free so I used to let them go. I became fired, "then why you made me idle by giving a coupon, I should also enter like this" Then they did immediate action and allow me to go next time before that patient who was trying to enter her chamber. She saw my reports and prescribed some medicines, then after she asked me for fees, I told her that I am here just to saw you the prescribed test report. Then she used to give me examples about beauty perilous payments system, She told me that if I can't afford her fees then I shouldnt go for such a expensive hospital etc etc. Then she told keep the recent prescription with her until I make her fees.. I simply rush to reception and return them complete medical file and told that I am not going to pay unnecessary and not need the file. I WAS NOT EXPECTING SUCH TREATMENT FROM THE HOSPITAL WHO IS USING THE NAME OF OUR SAI BABA

* *** *** *** ****** ** **** ****** we were visiting her for my wife's pregnancy, my wife had multiple health issues then too ** ****** ****** ** **** * *** *** my wife was able to deliver the healthy baby, there were minor complications while delivery happened however Dr Shweta dealth with it with her expertise, she have expertise in High risk pregnancy. we recommend her for High risk pregnancies. Note: there is no doubt about Dr Shweta but be aware of admin and reception staff here, they are poor in managing the timings, they give you xyz time for an appointment and then when you reach the hospital they ask you have you taken appointment? also they will keep you wait for long hours ** ******* ***** when you had discussed everything already on a phone call...

I will always remember the care and compassion extended to me by Dr. Shweta at a time when I was experiencing a deep depression due to my increased blood sugar level. She has always been very approachable & positive.

My heartfelt appreciation to Dr. Shweta and her team and wish her all the best. The service that I got here was commendable. May God give you courage and strength to always keep up the good work that you are doing.

One most important thing that work like magic is her smiling face. Me and my husband felt like she is our family member only :)

I visited doctor shweta upadhyay for my entire pregnancy checkups and my delivery.she is a good doctor and used to explain everything very well..she always used to focus on diet and exercise and she told me that i will have a normal delivery.

but due to less oxygen supply to my baby and early iugr i was operated at 36 weeks ..

my baby and me are fine and we are thankful to the doctor.

however one thing which i dont like is that she is not approachable .many of my friends during their pregnancy were able to contact their gynac in case of issues on phone or whatsapp and they used to get solutions.

but doctor shweta never shares her number with patients and this is one thing which is really hard and keeps you scary in case of a problem until you reach hospital.

We had first visited Dr.Shweta for pre conception check up and we were very impressed with her during our first meeting itself. So when we conceived without any second thought we decided to continue with Dr.Shweta .Best part of hers is detail explanation of all tests (which we were undergoing) and she would always prefer less medication. From day 1 she prepared my mind for normal delivery and I delivered Beautiful baby girl normally without Epidural..

In labor room she boosted my confidence to bear pain and not to opt for Epidural.I would highly recommend Dr.Shweta for pregnancy.
