Dr. Nripendra Kumar, MBBS, MD (Psychiatry), AIIMS, Delhi, is a consultant Psychiatrist and Psychotherapist practising in Delhi since 2011. He is currently practising in Delhi as a consultant Psychiatrist and Psychotherapist and heading several specialized clinic like Schizophrenia Recovery Clinic, Mood Disorder Clinic, OCD and Anxiety Disorder Clinic, Tobacco Cessation Clinic and De-addiction Clinic, Sleep Disorder Clinic and Headache Clinic. He works together with a multidisciplinary team of Psychiatrist, Clinical Psychologist, Social workers, De-addiction Counsellor, Cognitive behaviour therapist and Family therapist.His area of interest and expertise include schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, OCD and anxiety disorder, tobacco, alcohol and other drug addiction, child and adolescent disorder, neuro-modulation therapies and psychotherapy.He believes that there is no health without good mental health and positive mental health is the pivotal points for a person’s and society’s development. He also believes that positive mental health is human right of every person. He is actively involved in organizing several awareness programs to highlight about positive mental health to the people of society.
