Dr. Julie M J David Raja (Physiotherapist)

After I graduated from Tamilnadu Dr. MGR Medical University in the year 1997, I started my initial practice at Orthopaedic & Specialities Hospital as a full time Physiotherapist at both Out patient & In patient department until the year 2000. Further to that I had an opportunity to work at The Spastics Society of Tamilnadu as a Paediatric Institutional Based Rehabilitation (IBR) Physiotherapist from 1999 to 2007. I was promoted to the head office as a Human Resource Department Coordinator. I also completed post graduation in Neurology at North India. I specialized strongly in the paediatrics sector as I had an opportunity to work at Amma Hospital and Vijaya Hospital as an ON CALL Paediatric Physiotherapy consultant to do Early Intervention therapy (Stimulation Programme), Neonatal Intensive Care Unit - Chest Physiotherapy, Inpatient Department - physiotherapy administered for paediatric cases like burns conditions, orthopedic conditions etc., I also had an opportunity to pursue Erasmus Mundus master programme in Adapted Physical Activity with scholarship funded by the European Commission at KU Leuven Belgium and Norwegian School of Sport Sciences, Oslo, Norway. I was trained in the Beitostolen Health Sports Centre and that was one of the break through in my life and the concepts learned in the centre is currenlty integarted at Mercy Phyisotherapy Clinic.
