Dr. Rakesh Chandola is a General Surgeon and Sport Medicine Specialist at Medicare Rehabilitation Centre, New Delhi. He holds his expertise in occupational therapy, sport & recreational medicine, physiotherapy, post traumatic rehab, exercise science consultation & prescription, and gait training. Dr. Chandola has been instrumental during his long career with the Armed Forces in establishing the first of its kind Physical Medicine Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine Department at the well-known Army Hospital (R & R) in Delhi Cantonment. He has been the head of the medical teams involved with training and treating of national and elite sports persons for national & international events. He also brings with him knowledge of cutting edge methodologies to provide relief to those who need non-surgical rehabilitation and an early return to normal activity.
