Dr. Nehal Patel

Dr Nehal Patel, graduated from Dr D. Y. Patil University, Mumbai and obtained post graduation in Surgery from Y.M.T., Kharghar, Mumbai. She has obtained training under India’s leading Proctologist, Dr Ashwin Porwal. She has studied Diploma in Proctology, certified by Dr Antonio Longo, Italy, widely considered the ‘Father of Proctology’. Dr Patel is amongst the few proctologists in Mumbai and probably the only leading female surgeon. She has gained expertise in MIPH surgery for Piles and STARR surgery for chronic constipation. In fact, her mastery lies in the way she manages wound care in cases of Fistula, a predicament even for the most experienced surgeons. Dr Patel’s extensive knowledge in Ayurveda enables her to treat every disease with a holistic approach.
