Worked as Medical Superintendent & headed the Deptt. of Psychiatry, in Hindu Rao Hospital, Delhi. Chaired Psychiatry Board of MCD for more than 15 years. Executive Member of the Delhi Psychiatrist Society & was active member of Monitoring Committee as Psychiatrist; to review Mental Health Units at Children/ Juvenile Homes. Qualified- Fellowship from WHO, NSW, Sydney. Extensive experience and knowledge of assessment, diagnosis & various treatment modalities / therapies of psychiatric disorders across different age groups. Special interest in Culture-Bound Syndromes and Schizophrenia. Have conducted Special clinics & Care Giver programmes for Alzheimer’s, OCDs. Managed psychosexual clinics, and doing CBT (cognitive behaviour therapy)
