(Ophthalmology), FVRS (Sankara), FRCS (Glasg), FICO (U.K.), MRCS (Ed), DNB, MNAMS.Dr. Anurag Shandil works as a Vitreo-retina and Cataract consultant at Narayana Nethradhama Superspeciality Eye Hospital & Retina Centre, Janakpuri. He has completed his MBBS from Indra Gandhi Medical College, Shimla, and did his master’s in eye surgery (M.S. Ophthalmology) from Lady Hardinge Medical College, New Delhi. He then worked as a senior resident for 3 years in the Vitreo-retina and Cataract unit of the Department of Ophthalmology at LHMC, New Delhi. He was thereafter intensively trained in Vitreo-retina and ocular oncology at Sankara Eye Hospital. He acquired his surgical fellowship from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow and was also awarded the Fellowship of the International Council of Ophthalmologists (FICO, UK). He was awarded the Diplomat of National Board (DNB) by the prestigious National Board of Examinations (NBE). He has presented and published papers in various national and international conferences and peer-reviewed journals and won many awards.He is a skilled surgeon and clinician par excellence who is passionate about his work and believes in compassion and a holistic approach to the patient. With more than a decade of rising experience, he holds a strong command in both retina and cataract surgeries.
