One of the most genuine medical professionals I have met and interacted with in my life.

Went to her for some professional perspective on certain issues which were leading to stress in my life with a clear knowledge that I don't need to see a therapist but would be good to try. Within in the first 30 minutes of the session, she told me I don't need therapy but she can help me manage stress and be the person I vent out to and get a different perspective from. That genuine feedback made me want to have a few more sessions where we discussed my personal and professional life, make some decisions and changes in my life which helped me deal with the stress better.

While most people dread therapy, I would look forward to my sessions with her because of the intellectual conversations and life skills we discussed. After 4 fruitful sessions, we both agreed I don't need further sessions but I have a therapist for life I can reach out to when I need. Just like we have a family doctor for our physical ailments and diseases, having a therapist for your mind feels like a blessing and a necessity in today's highly stressed out world.

Amita madam is very good counsellor . She is very patient and soft spoken. She understands the issue quickly and recommends techniques to improve mental health. Before coming here for counselling, I was apprehensive about how my psychosomatic symptoms can just be resolved by talking. But I was proven wrong by Amita madam. She explains so quietly and softly that I am amazed how my issue got resolved without noticing. I am very glad that I took counselling from her. Brilliant experience. In Jan '26 I had multiple anxiety attacks, sometimes even 3 in a week. Despite having stable IT job, I never felt this anxious and panicked before. I was diagnosed with mixed anxiety depression by Psychiatrist in Jan '26 and for which I'm prescribed anti-depressant and sleeping pill for an year.

However, I wanted to seek counselling from a Psychologist who'll be able to help me get off these medication in long term. We sought professional help from Dr. Amita Kubal who was very friendly, non-judgemental, empathetic counsellor who patiently heard my long term depression and health anxiety issues and guided me simple yet very effective mental hacks that help me become a completely different person in Mar '26 then how I was few months back.

I was in a very bed shape physically and mentally due to various anxieties around me. However, due to simple cognitive changes in my way of dealing with situations in my day to day life, I was able to calmly deal with much more worse situation in Mar '26 when I was released from my project and put on bench. Both, me and my wife, were very pleasantly surprised that I calmly handled that situation.

I can see that I've now become much more confident and able to pick up new learnings much more faster and also able to sleep peacefully which feels like a gift.

Getting rid of stress and anxiety and accepting it completely is a part of life....but in modern days we have not been taught...how to deal with it

Amita madam is a kind and friendly counsellar. It was really worth to find her. I visited tons of doctors/counsellars to cure my anxiety disorder but failed to get satisfied treatment. But after meeting amita mam i felt like she is my close friend.

I'm Suhas Paranjpe. I've some Psychological problems that's why I approached Dr. Amita. She's supportive. The way she explains is good, when I spoke with her I came to know that someone is there for me/ to help me. You don't alone after speaking with her.
