Dentist C.Sumitha was very accommodating even at the last minute call. Recent visit was for Molar (Last big one) Tooth extraction which was crumbling due to decay, half of the crown already gone only part of the crown has the hold and that too can't grabbed tight. Couple of doctors from my native said tough case.

She assessed my case and considering my travel plans she had performed the procedure (withing 1 hour) with assessment 10min, break 20m, local sedation 5m, break 5m, extraction 15m, completion and post extraction care in 5mins.

Premise is also neat and hygienic with adequate amenities for X-Ray, Sanitizing the tools etc.

Charges were unbeatable compared to other doctors even in my town. (Kovilpattti - South TN)

This is my second visit to her. Previous one was Root Canal and Cap. in 3 sitting I guess, couldn't recollect exact flow but that was almost closer to American Dental standards which I got after Insurance coverage. (in US for 15times of the cost what she charged)

Wish she is located near to my town or at-least come as visiting Doctor to a dental clinic here.

She is my schoolmate and a good friend of mine. She is a person who always questions about things around us right from childhood. She is a socially responsible person, kind hearted and an expressive person.

I can see Dr. Sumi still reflecting the same character after so many years, when I approached her for tooth problem. She diagnosed my tooth problem correctly, explained me the cause of occurrence, where disease located, process of treatment,etc. in detail.

She also explained how many sittings for treatment, necessity for the appropriate time gap between each sitting.

She also gave appointment in advance, discussed for comfortable timing, and proceeded further in a very comfortable and a very friendly manner. She performed the treatment on time in the given appointment schedule.

Clinic was also maintained cleanly with all necessary equipments.

The doctor called me prior to the appointment to let me know it’s ideal that I eat. The extraction was quick and pain-free. After the extraction, she clearly explained what I was to eat and what oral care should be done for the next 48 hours. Also, she took the time to explain what the prescribed medication was and the best part- why it was prescribed in the first place- this is something I’ve not seen other dentists too. She was happy to have me call if have doubts. I’d be happy to recommend Dr Sumitha.

I recently got a root canal done by Dr. Sumitha I was very reluctant, anxious as my tooth was in a very bad way . She took me through the entire procedure in the first sitting. And in my next visit I had my RCT done. There was absolutely no pain during the root canal or afterwards. The next day I even got a call from her asking me how I was feeling. Dr. Sumitha is a friendly doctor who clarifies all doubts and is genuinely concerned about the patient.

I would highly recommend Dr. Sumi's Dentcare for anyone looking for dental related treatments.
