Thanks for your review. However I think you have presented things in a wrong way. I would like to clarify your allegations: 1. Doctor shouted at my father : When the patient does not follow the written and explained instructions, doctor has to become little strict which in-turn is for the benefit of the patient. No need to get offended. 2. Doctor forced us to pay 8K more : This is totally fake and baseless allegation. The patient was asked to do blood test required for the surgery. He had done it form outside lab where he paid Rs. 750. Now the patient was asking us to refund Rs.750 which he had paid somewhere else. That time we brought to his notice that his claim has actually settled for much lesser amount (Rs.8000 less) than the surgery package in which he was operated (Claim settlement letter and other valid documents available to prove it). If we did not ask you to pay the difference amount how can you demand Rs. 750 from us which you have paid somewhere else ? Your father was operated for Cataract (both eyes) at our Hospital. As you are also aware that the surgery results were excellent with very good vision. Even after giving such a good results and our best services to the patient, making undue remarks and creating issues on money matters is very annoying and not acceptable. I think you belong to that class of people who know to talk only of their rights and not about their responsibilities. You didn't have courtesy to talk about excellent surgery and excellent vision to your father, and also speak with the insurance company regarding our short payment, rather more worried about Rs. 750. We are in dignified Profession. Our aim is to give best treatment and best services to the patient so that he is relieved of his distress. It take years of experience and decades of hard work to build trust among patients and respectful position in the society. Nobody can play with it just to satisfy his malicious intent. People should not forget that Practo is a platform wherein patients as well as doctors can share their views and opinions and together come-up with better healthcare system for the society. You should not misuse it to defame the doctor with false allegations.
