Dr Godbole’s Shree Hospital completes 30 years of successful healthcare service in Kalyan (West) in 2019, staying true to its mission “to provide Quality Healthcare with Care”.10th October, 1989, on the auspicious day of Dasara, Kalyan’s first multispecialty hospital – Shree Hospital, came into existence-the dream project of Dr Sanjay Godbole (Radiologist) & Dr Sujata Godbole (Obstetrician & Gynecologist). This humble beginning brought together a multitude of services under one roof-medicine, surgery, orthopedics, obstetrics and gynecology, ENT, etc. with basic diagnostics like X ray, sonography and pathology services-a concept that was one of its kind in Kalyan. The modern operation theatre services and the out sourced facilities of medical store and ambulance, within its premises, made the available healthcare complete.Over the last three decades, the 32-bedded Shree Hospital has continued to earn the trust and appreciation of the people of Kalyan and its surrounding areas like Ulhasnagar, Ambivali, Titwala, Shahapur, Murbad, up to Karjat and Kasara. Shree Hospital served as a satellite Centre for Wockhart (now Fortis) Hospital, Mulund for a number of years. In its second phase of upgradation, Shree Hospital revamped its ICU into a state of the art, 5 bedded department with round-the-clock Intensivist and equipped with 2 Ventilators and centralized oxygen facilities. The addition of C -Arm machine to the operation theatre, enhanced the caliber of surgeries done, well-equipped to conduct supra-major surgeries like knee replacement surgeries, spine surgeries, etc. Shree Hospital boasts of a highly respected and experienced panel of consultants; and a wide array of super specialists is also available “on call” basis.
