Journey So FarIsha Netralaya was started in 2001. Over the years, this organization has evolved into a sophisticated system dedicated to compassionate service for sight. It is one of the first to start with advanced cataract surgery services (Soverign White Star). It is also amongst few eye care centers who started with advanced laser surgery in Thane district. It is now renamed as IshaNetralaya.Lasik services at ISHA NETRALAYA are headed by Dr. Sonal Shah who is considered to as one of the leading Cornea Specialist in Mumbai with record of over 4500 successful refractive procedures to her credit which she has been performing since 2003. We have started with our another branch at Ambernath in 2005. From the year 2007 we have started performing eye (cornea) transplant surgery at our centre. We have Started with An academic oriented teaching institute imparting training for DNB ophthalmology, Optometry and other Training Program from 2010. We are now success fully running Diploma & degree courses in Optometry.Our Corporate Social Responsibility emphasizes obligation & accountability to society. Till now we have arranged 30-50 camps as a part of our corporate social responsibility program .We also have got 2 peripheral centers one at Wangani& another at Murbad . We are operating almost 40-50 surgeries free of cost for patients coming from these two centers.We are now shifting to bigger premises.By Doing this , we will have hospital of almost 15,000 sq.ft. which is considered as huge set up for any Eye care Hospital.At ISHA NETRALAYA,all eye care related facilities are available under one roof. We are proud to say that we have record of over 50,000 successful surgeries.
