Advanced Orthopaedic Centre, Thane West

I am a senior citizen and fell on my back early morning on Monday, 18th sept 2017. My friend and a doctor Mrs. Modak phoned the hospital and was told that doctor is there. On arrival, I found that I had been misinformed. There was no doctor and no immediate action was taken. I had suspected spinal colum injury and was in unbearable pain. I was asked to wait till the doctor on call was called and when I insisted on being given atleast some pain remover, action was taken after 20 minutes. Follow up visit was advised on 25th sept. I called on sunday to for the timing and was told that since receptionist is not there I should call next day. I called on next day at 8am & was asked to call at 10AM. I called at 10:05am and was asked to phone after 10min. When I phoned again at 10:35, I was told that dr. is available and I should go immediately. I stay 7kms away I reached the hospital at about 11:30am. The receptionist said that I have no appointment(!) and when I protested, she made me wait in the doctor's cabin and said he will see me. AS I was entering the cabin, the dr just walked out. I waited for 45 minutes and left. Surprisingly, none of the staff even tried to stop me though they knew that I was suffering and in pain. I wasted my time and money going to this dr.

Dr. Mehta is a great personality and I keep visiting him for all my medical queries, not just orthopaedic issues because of the way he has always addressed problems. ***** ******** *** ********* *** *** ******* ****** *** he is always very welcoming and patient with all who reach out to him for help. Lastly, needs to be mentioned he is a great orthopaedic surgeon and has given me a second go at life by operating my broken leg.

Thank you Sir. You never fail to inspire.

I would like to say just one thing. How i wish i had been to him when my problem started.. when didnt i go to him earlier. Thankyou
