Group B Strep test is performed on a sample of infected tissue to measure the level of Group B streptococcus in the infected tissue.It is performed to confirm Streptococcal Lung Infection, Streptococcal Skin Infection, Streptococcal Soft Tissue Infection and Streptococcal Urinary Tract Infection and also during the treatment and after the treatment of Streptococcal Lung Infection, Streptococcal Skin Infection, Streptococcal Soft Tissue Infection and Streptococcal Urinary Tract Infection.
