Lemons are the fruits belonging to the citrus family. Other fruits of the “Citrus” genus include lime, grapefruit, and orange. Consuming lemons or skin exposure to lemons or products which contain lemon extracts may produce an allergic reaction. These allergic reactions may be immediate or take some time to manifest.
