DR. AMIT MUKHERJEE is a Senior Consultant and Head of Department at V-Y HOSPITAL, Raipur. He has vast experience in various neurosurgical diseases. He has been operating complicated neurosurgical diseases in various hospitals across India. He has a special interest in minimally invasive neurosurgery using endoscopy. He also excels in managing spine related problems. He is skilled in surgically removing complex brain tumors like gliomas, meningiomas, schwanoma, metaststic tumors, pittutary adenomas, spinal tumors like schwannoma, meningioma, cavernomas and orbital tumors like cavernous hemangioma, optic nerve glioma, optic nerve sheath schwanoma. He also successfully operated on A-V malformations. He has presented numerous papers at national and international conferences. He has attended various neurosurgical workshops as delegate and as faculty. He is a active member of various neurosurgical societies like Neurological Society of India and Chhattisgarh Association of Neurosciences.
