Dr. Kaustubh Sawant is an Orthopaedic Surgeon with a special interest in knee and shoulder disorders, arthroscopic surgery, sports injuries, and joint preservation.He completed his MBBS from Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College (Sion Hospital), Mumbai, followed by a DNB in Orthopaedic Surgery awarded by the National Board of Examinations, New Delhi. He has further advanced his expertise through ISAKOS-approved fellowships in arthroscopy at reputed centres in India, Italy, and Germany, with focused training in the management of complex knee and shoulder conditions.Dr. Sawant’s clinical practice focuses on ACL injuries, meniscus tears, shoulder instability, rotator cuff tears, cartilage injuries, and other conditions affecting the knee and shoulder. He believes in preserving the native joint whenever possible and recommends surgery only when it is likely to provide meaningful improvement in pain, function, and quality of life.His approach to patient care begins with listening. Every patient undergoes a detailed clinical assessment, supported by appropriate investigations when required, to arrive at an accurate diagnosis.
