Apart from meticulous psychiatry training while pursuing his M.D. (Psychiatry), he is also M.D. (Human Anatomy) from KEM Mumbai & trained in Neurology at NIMHANS, Bangalore, which gives him a better perspective of neurological causes in psychiatric problems.He is a trained professional in Psychosexual Medicine with a fellowship.
