I am a senior citizen residing in Nashik Road. I have major cardiac and thyroid problems since many years. Recently I was admitted to hospital for urgent treatment. The Doctor reviewed my medications and overall health and advised that I should also look into discussing my problems and stresses with a Psychiatrist.
I asked the Doctor to recommend a Psychiatrist, I also asked a family friend who is also a senior citizen. They both recommended Dr Priya Rajhans. As I was in hospital, she visited me promptly and comforted me and gave me reassurance and wise advice. She prescribed some medications too. Dr Rajhans visited me after a few days and we chatted about how I can make changes to my lifestyle, etc.
Upon discharge, I have been visiting her clinic and I must mention that I really feel much happier and remarkably relaxed. Dr Rajhans listens carefully, evaluates and advises in a relaxed manner. She manages the appointment timings well. She is very experienced and has a diverse range of patients. She also contributes to the society and supports various NGO’s.
I have some relatives in different places who receive psychiatric treatment. I have been very moody for a long time, however, I was reluctant to take medicines for mental illness due to stigma when people get to know, society ostracises people like me. Now I believe that it is just like any illness and it is better to get treatment and live happily and convey to other people that your health is far important than comments from other people.

Dr Rajhans is a patient listener and gives apt advice which is very relevant and beneficial to me. I have been able to manage my illnesses and lead a better life due to her wise counsel.
I live abroad and visit India regularly, it is always quite helpful to consult Dr Rajhans and take good and effective advice from herself. She is very professional and prompt in allocating and managing appointments such as when I am unable to attend at short notice.

It was my first appointment booked via practo (Appointment ID - 1833996). I was quite happy about overall appointment booking experience and having met doctor at scheduled time.
BUT, unlike other websites, practo also falls into same category where you show some illusion to attract the crowd while in reality things are different!!
My 4.5 years old daughter who is ranking first in all competitions so far suddenly started complaining for not going to school at all. It was to an extent that on Friday she was frightened of Monday when in the past she was so excited about school. We were not able to understand this sudden phobia and hence needed some proper counselling or guidance from an expert.
While finding the right doctor, Practo website shown that Dr. Priya also counsels children with school phobia, I was happy that Practo helped me find the right person for the issue which I wanted to deal with.
When we entered, Doctor started on a note that - No, we don't counsel so small children, counselling starts for children either 10 years old or older. After hearing that, there was a significant pause in between - considering we should leave or wait. Then still we insisted for her guidance to which she dealt with us for few minutes. But overall, it appeared like she has never dealt with small kids ever before.
When it came about consulting fees, unfortunately Practo website shows consulting fees as Rs.500 (see screenshot below), and in reality, she took Rs.600 from us!!
That's disappointing, Practo!! you show some information (about Doctor and consultation fees) on your website and in reality things are different!!
