Dr. Digvijay Patil

Dr. Digvijay has graduated from M A Rangoonwala Dental College, Pune affiliated to Maharashtra University which is one of the premier Dental Institutes in India. He pursued his post graduation in Orthodontics from the Manipal college of dental sciences Mangalore where he had the privilege of studying under stalwarts like Dr. Subraya Mogra and Dr. V.Surrendera Shetty - both renowned personalities in the field of Orthodontics in India. He had many distinctions and laurels to his credit during his academic career. Currently he is attached to MGV dental college as Assistant professor in OrthodonticsDr. Digvijay is a full-time clinician and is a consultant to various esteemed hospitals and clinics in Nashik Pune Mumbai.He is an Expert in Invisible Braces treatment and a certified Doctor 'ClearPath Aligner System'. He is firm believer of saying that ”Stagnation Leads to Decay “ In order to keep himself updated with the latest developments in Orthodontics, he has attended various training programs on Lingual Orthodontics from world-renowned orthodontists He has also undergone extensive training for using the modern and highly precise orthodontic instruments such as the Torque Angulation Device and the Bracket Positioning Device. Dr. Digvijay advocates the use of advanced techniques and materials with the dual objectives of increasing patients’ comfort while reducing the treatment time. The aim is to establish comfort, self-esteem and optimal oral health for his patients while creating gorgeous and beautiful smiles. He has undergone extensive training in Tweed Merrifield Techniques under the leadership of DR SUNG from Korea. He recently completed training in latest techniques of infrazyomatic implants by professor Johnny Law from TaiwanHe is the Convenor of “Nasik Orthodontic Study Group”, a speciality group that encourages orthodontic education and creating awareness about the speciality in general public for 2 consecutive terms .Under his leadership various activities were held with a special mention of SMILE TORCH week. It was during this time a national level “Practice Management and Ethical marketing” workshop was held in Nashik for the practicing orthodontist.He is a Life Member of the Indian Orthodontic Society. He has been elected on the National Executive Committee of Indian Orthodontic society for past 3 year. He is one of youngest member to achieve this status. He has attended many workshops on the invisible braces treatment and regular orthodontic treatment in order to upgrade and fine tune his skills. Besides being a successful practitioner, Dr. Digvijay is also an invited speaker at many IDA meeting and CDE( continuing dental education program)
