I had consulted the Doctor for my mother who is aged 87 years for her lymphedema problem. I had taken my mothers swollen legs photo with me in my mobile to consult with him whether is there any treatment to reduce her swellings. She got blisters over her legs as well and was having physiotherapy treatment. The doctor advised to stop physiotherapy immediately since my mom had blisters over her legs otherwise the infection would spread to her entire body and told me that surgery is not possible at this stage due to age

He asked me to get her admitted to any hospital for two to three days for curing her infection and lateron to use crape bandage over her swollen legs to restrict further increase in swelling. he advised not to use any compression machine too at this stage.
