Dr. Sagar Patil is trained in all aspects of Hepatology and Gastrointestinal Emergencies like. Gastrointestinal Bleed, Medical Management of all Acute Abdominal Conditions, Liver Failure, Chronic Liver Disease and its Complications, Biliary and Pancreatic Problems. He is also trained in Diagnostic and Therapeutic Endoscopy (Banding, Electrocoagulation, Dilatation, Foreign Body Removal, Feeding Tube Placement, Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy,ERCP procedure).Dr.Sagar Patil completed his DNB training in Internal Medicine from St.Phiolomenas hospital (2008-11) in first attempt. He has worked in Hinduja hospital and research center ,Mumbai for 15 months in department of GastroenterologyHe is trained in one of the pioneer institutes (Amrita Institute of medical science) of Liver Transplant in South India for 3 years .He had a real time experience of managing Liver Transplant Patients in the span of last 3 years. During his DNB training, he observed, assisted in and performed all Diagnostic and Therapeutic GI Procedures including Gastroscopies, Colonoscopies, ERCP, Motility Studies.Presently He is working as a consultant Hepatology and Gastroenterology at Midas Multispeciality Hospital in Nagpur, India
