Dr. Nawaid ahmed is an orthopaedic surgeon specialising in arthroscopic surgery and treatment of sports related injuries. At 38, he is one of the leading orthopaedic practictioner in Vidharbha region.Dr. Nawaid Ahmed did his schooling from Pune and was a meritorious student all throughout. He graduated in 2002 from jawaharlal nehru medical college, sawangi (meghe), wardha and did his post graduation in orthopaedics from Jaslok hospital & research center in Mumbai.He was associated with many renowned hospitals like • bd petit general hospital, mumbai • bj wadia childern's hospital, mumbai• government medical college, nagpur And sharpened his expertise in medical domains like orthopaedic problems in children and complex trauma surgery. He was one of the few who went to melbourne, australia on a sponsored fellowship program. He was trained in orthroscopy and shoulder, knee and elbow surgery under the able guidance of dr. Minoo patel & dr. Martin richardson. This period allowed him to understand the intricacies of sports medicine as he dealt with many australian football players. After coming back from australia with rich experience & high-level expertise in knee and shoulder surgery, he is a practicing orthopaedic surgeon with special interest in sports medicine and orthroscopy at nagpur.
