Dr. Anand Pasari

Dr.Anand Pasari(MS,DNB,MNAMS,FICO)graduated from Grant Medical College and JJ Hospital, Mumbai and completed MS Ophthalmology from PGIMER, Chandigarh. He has recieved training in Cornea and Anterior Segment during fellowship at prestigious LV Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad. He is Fellow of International Council(FICO) of Ophthalmology(UK).He recently completed an Advanced International Fellowship at the Cornea Research Foundation of America ,Indianapollis,USA (Price Vision Group)His areas of interest include lamellar corneal transplants(DALK,DSEK,DMEK) and disorders of Ocular Surface and their management by reconstruction and Limbal Stem Cell Transplant Techniques.One of his research projects “Outcomes of DMEK for failed penetrating Keratoplasty” has been published in journal ‘Cornea' and has also won “Best Scientific Poster”Award at American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO-2018 )Conference at Chicago, USAHis video titled “ Simple Limbal Epithelial Transplantation : A Transforming Approach” has won “Best Video Award -New Techniques” at the prestigious American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery(ASCRS) Film Festival 2017(Los Angeles, USA) as well as APACRS Film Festival-2017(Hangzhou,China) and RANZCO -2017(Perth, Australia).He has delivered several presentations at national and international conferences.His work on Topograpgy-Guided LASIK was awarded the ASIA-ARVO Travel Grant Award 2015(Yokohama,Japan) and has been published in Journal of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
