Description
Xalipat 100 MG Injection is an anticancer medicine. It is used in the treatment of cancer of the large intestine. This medicine prevents the cancer cells from dividing and thereby stops their growth. The most common side effects of Xalipat 100 MG Injection are nausea, vomiting, mouth ulcers, loss of appetite, indigestion, numbness, nerve pain, tiredness, low blood cell count, etc. It may cause dizziness and vision disturbances which may impact your ability to drive. Avoid driving or operating a machine after taking this medication. Xalipat 100 MG Injection is administered by your doctor in a clinic or a hospital setting. The dose and duration of the treatment will depend on your condition. Follow the instructions given by your doctor. This medicine may increase your risk of infections. Consult your doctor immediately if you have a fever. Avoid Xalipat 100 MG Injection if you are previously allergic to it or have experienced severe allergy after taking it. Inform your doctor if you have heart, lung, liver, or kidney disease. Discuss with your doctor if you are currently taking any medications. Allergy

Inform your doctor if you have any symptoms of nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, blood in stools, diarrhoea, etc.

Low blood cell count

Xalipat 100 MG Injection may lower your white blood cells and platelet count. Hence, close monitoring of blood cell count is recommended.

Infections

Xalipat 100 MG Injection may increase the risk of infections. Hence, close monitoring of body temperature and blood cell count is required.

Liver toxicity

Xalipat 100 MG Injection may increase the blood levels of certain liver enzymes and cause liver damage. Hence, caution is required if you have any liver disease. Inform your doctor before receiving this medicine. Your doctor may perform liver function tests before initiating the therapy.

Driving and operating a machine
