Diabetes

The suspension form of this medicine may increase the blood glucose levels due to the presence of carbohydrates. Close monitoring of blood glucose levels is necessary.

Impaired kidney function

This medicine may cause accumulation of aluminum in the body in patients with the kidney impairment. Inform the doctor if you have a history of kidney disease. Monitoring the signs and symptoms of aluminum toxicity like aluminum osteodystrophy, osteomalacia, encephalopathy is necessary.

Use in children

This medicine is not recommended for the children.

This medicine should be used with caution in patients with a history of diabetes mellitus due to the increased risk of altered blood glucose levels. Close monitoring of blood glucose levels is advised during treatment with this medicine. Appropriate dose adjustments or replacement with a suitable alternative may be necessary based on the clinical condition of the patient.
