Description
Toxocare Tablet is a macrolide antibiotic which is used to treat bacterial and parasitic infections of the respiratory tract, mouth, skin, and soft tissues. It is used to treat toxoplasmosis infection in pregnant women under specific circumstances which are clinically determined. It may also be used to treat gonorrhea in patients who are allergic to penicillin.

Allergy

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with a known allergy to spiramycin, any other antibiotic of the macrolide drug class, or any other inactive ingredients present along with it.

Bacterial Meningitis

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with bacterial meningitis due to its inefficiency of crossing the blood-brain barrier.

Toxoplasma encephalitis

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with toxoplasma encephalitis due to its inefficiency of crossing the blood-brain barrier.

Drug resistance
