Description
Tenvir AF Tablet is an antiviral medicine. It is used for the treatment of chronic hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection, a serious liver infection. It prevents the multiplication of the hepatitis B virus and enhances the clearing of infection. Tenvir AF Tablet shows side effects like headache, stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, muscle pain, etc. It may also cause dizziness. Hence, avoid driving vehicles or operating machines if you feel dizzy after taking this medicine. If any of these side effects persist or worsen, consult your doctor. Avoid taking this medicine if you are allergic to it. Tenvir AF Tablet may be taken with food. Your doctor will decide the dose and duration of treatment based on the severity of your condition. Try not to miss a dose and ensure to complete the course of treatment for better results. Take this medicine at the same time every day for the ease of remembering. Tenvir AF Tablet should be used with caution if you have liver or kidney problems. Inform your doctor if you are taking any other medicine to avoid interaction with Tenvir AF Tablet. This medicine is not recommended for use in children below 18 years of age. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy, or are breastfeeding.

Missed Dose

Tenvir AF Tablet should be used with caution if you have kidney problems as this medicine is excreted through the kidneys. Impaired kidney functions may cause an accumulation of this medicine in the kidneys. Thus, it may further cause kidney damage. Your doctor may suggest tests to periodically monitor your kidney function while you are taking Tenvir AF Tablet

Liver Disease

Tenvir AF Tablet should be used with caution if you have other liver problems or a history of alcohol abuse. It may cause liver toxicity and further worsen your condition.

Take Tenvir AF Tablet with food as this increases the absorption of the medicine in your body. This medicine may cause dizziness.
