Description
Synclar 125 MG Dry Syrup is an antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections of the lungs, airways, ears, and skin. The medicine works by stopping the growth of bacteria that is causing the infection. It is not effective against infections caused by viruses such as a cold or flu. Synclar 125 MG Dry Syrup shows common side effects like diarrhoea, stomach pain, headache, weakness, nausea, and vomiting. Consult your doctor if these side effects get worse. Synclar 125 MG Dry Syrup should be used cautiously if you have gastrointestinal (stomach and intestine) problems, particularly colitis (swelling of the inner lining of the colon). Synclar 125 MG Dry Syrup can be taken with or without food. For the ease of remembering, take it around the same time every day. Avoid taking any antacids with Synclar 125 MG Dry Syrup as it can decrease its absorption and effect. After starting this medicine, it is always recommended to finish the entire course of treatment. Synclar 125 MG Dry Syrup is generally not recommended during pregnancy. However, your doctor may prescribe this medicine if the benefits of you taking it are greater than the risks. The medicine is generally acceptable in nursing mothers as very low level passes into the breastmilk. Synclar 125 MG Dry Syrup is not recommended if you need to drive or take part in activities that require concentration as it can cause dizziness or drowsiness.Synclar 125 MG Dry Syrup is not recommended for anyone with liver or kidney problems. Take this medicine only as per your doctor's prescription to avoid developing bacterial resistance.

Antibiotic resistance

Finish your entire course of treatment with Synclar 125 MG Dry Syrup, even if the condition gets better to avoid antibiotic resistance (a condition where the bacteria become resistant to antibiotics). Consult your doctor if you feel unwell even after completing your antibiotic course.

Diarrhoea

Along with the harmful bacterias, Synclar 125 MG Dry Syrup can also kill the good bacteria in your intestine, which can lead to diarrhoea. Get emergency medical help if you experience severe diarrhoea that is watery or bloody.

Driving or operating machinery

Synclar 125 MG Dry Syrup may cause blurred vision, dizziness, or confusion and hence do not perform any activity such as driving vehicles or operating machines if you experience any of these symptoms.

Antacids

Inform your doctor if you are taking any antacid for indigestion. Antacids containing aluminium and magnesium salts can increase the time it takes for Synclar 125 MG Dry Syrup to act on your body. Because of this, it is recommended to take this antibiotic at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after taking antacids.

Missed Dose

Take the missed dose of Synclar 125 MG Dry Syrup as soon as possible. If it is already time for your next scheduled dose, skip the missed dose.
