Description
Sucracid 1000 MG Liquid is an antiulcer medicine containing Sucralfate. It is used for the treatment of gastric and duodenal ulcers caused by excessive acid production in your stomach. Sucracid 1000 MG Liquid works by forming a protective layer over the ulcer and prevents the exposure of the ulcer to gastric acid, allowing it to heal. Sucracid 1000 MG Liquid may cause side effects like constipation, headache, nausea, indigestion, skin rash, etc. These effects are generally mild and subside with time. Consult your doctor if any of these symptoms persist for a long time. Sucracid 1000 MG Liquid may also cause dizziness and blurred vision. Hence, do not drive vehicles or operate machines after taking this medicine. Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to it. Sucracid 1000 MG Liquid is a prescription medicine that is available as tablet, suspension, syrup and oral gel dosage forms. It should be taken at least 1 hour before food mostly during the night. For ease of remembering, take this medicine around the same time every day. Take Sucracid 1000 MG Liquid in doses prescribed by your doctor. Store this medicine at room temperature away from sunlight. Sucracid 1000 MG Liquid may not be suitable for all people. Inform your doctor if you have any medical conditions such as diabetes (increased blood glucose levels), liver or kidney problems. Sucracid 1000 MG Liquid is known to interact with antacids. A time gap of 2 hours should be maintained between the intake of both medicines.
