Description
Rosutor Gold 20/150 Capsule is a combination medicine which may be used for the treatment of acute coronary syndrome, hyperlipidemia, and also for the prevention of ischemic stroke. This medicine is not recommended for use in patients below 18 years of age.

General warnings

Gastrointestinal Disease

Use of this medicine may increase the risk of bleeding, therefore not recommended in patients with peptic ulcer disease or any gastrointestinal bleeding. Report any unusual symptoms to the doctor on priority. Appropriate dose adjustments or replacement with a suitable alternative may be required in some cases based on the clinical condition.

Cognitive impairment

This medicine should be used with extreme caution since it may the risk of forgetfulness, memory loss, confusion, etc. in some patients. These side effects are reversible and usually disappear once the medicine is discontinued.

Altered blood sugar levels

This medicine may cause an alteration in the blood sugar levels. This risk is especially higher in patients with diabetes mellitus. Close monitoring of blood sugar levels is necessary while receiving this medicine. Appropriate dose adjustments or replacement with a suitable alternative may be required in some cases based on the clinical condition.

Myopathy and Rhabdomyolysis

This medicine may cause muscle breakdown and rhabdomyolysis in some patients, a condition which can be fatal. This may cause symptoms such as severe tiredness and weakness. This risk is especially higher in the elderly population and in patients with active muscle disorders. Report any unusual symptoms to the doctor immediately. Alcohol consumption

How it works
