Description
Oxyspas-2.5 Tablet contains a medicine called Oxybutynin. It is used for the treatment of overactive bladder (a condition that causes frequent urination, sudden urge to urinate, inability to control urination, leakage of urine, etc.) in adults and children above five years of age. It is also used to treat nighttime bedwetting when other treatments have not worked in children above five years. Oxyspas-2.5 Tablet works by relaxing the muscles of the bladder (the organ in which urine is stored). This helps control the release of urine from the bladder. Oxyspas-2.5 Tablet may cause side effects like dry mouth, stomach pain, constipation, nausea, indigestion, etc. These side effects may subside by themselves. However, consult your doctor if they bother you for a long time or worsen. Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to it. Avoid driving vehicles or operating machines after taking this medicine, as it may cause drowsiness and blurred vision. Oxyspas-2.5 Tablet can be taken with or without food. Take this medicine at the same time every day to maintain a constant level in your blood. Do not take more than the prescribed dose. Avoid discontinuing this medicine without consulting your doctor, as it may worsen your symptoms. Oxyspas-2.5 Tablet may not be suitable for everyone. Inform your doctor if you have heart, kidney, or liver problems or other medical conditions. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding before taking this medicine.
