This medicine may cause fluid overload and can cause hyponatremia (low sodium levels in the blood), seizure, and death. Appropriate corrective measures and dose adjustments may be required based on the clinical condition.

Hepatic encephalopathy

The therapy with this medicine should be stopped in patients with encephalopathy due to liver failure to avoid further administration of nitrogenous substances.

Asthma

This medicine should be used with extreme caution in patients with asthma or bronchospasm. Appropriate corrective measures and dose adjustments may be required based on the clinical condition.

Missed Dose
