Description
Maczone Plus 1.5 Injection is a combination of Ceftriaxone and Sulbactam. It is an antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections affecting the lungs, nose, throat, ears, heart, skin, urinary tract, etc. This medicine works by attacking the cell walls of the bacteria and eventually kills them. Maczone Plus 1.5 Injection is not effective against infections caused by viruses. Maczone Plus 1.5 Injection shows side effects like diarrhoea, pain at the injection site, headache, weakness, and dizziness. Do not use this medicine if you are allergic to it. Contact your doctor if any side effects are seen for a long time. Maczone Plus 1.5 Injection is administered into your vein or muscle by a health care professional in a hospital or clinical setting. Do not inject it on your own. Your doctor will determine the dose you need each day and how often the injections should be given. Prothrombin time

Antibiotic resistance

Antibiotic resistance occurs when bacteria develop the ability to defeat the medicine that was intended to kill them. Hence, to avoid such resistance you should always complete the entire course of treatment with Maczone Plus 1.5 Injection even if you feel better after a few doses.

Diarrhoea

Maczone Plus 1.5 Injection can cause diarrhoea because it may also kill the helpful bacteria in your stomach or intestine. Inform your doctor if you experience severe diarrhoea while receiving this medicine.

Use in neonates

Maczone Plus 1.5 Injection is not recommended for use in neonates (babies less than 28 days of age) since the safety and efficacy of use are not clinically established.
