Labtocin Injection

Manufactured byLABORATE PHARMACEUTICAL LTD
ContainsOxytocin
Description
Labtocin Injection consists of Oxytocin (a hormone that is involved in childbirth and breastfeeding). The medicine is primarily used in pregnant women for labour induction, increasing uterine contractions and controlling bleeding after childbirth. Labtocin Injection causes common side effects such as nausea, vomiting, and intense and frequent contractions. These side effects usually subside with time. However, consult your doctor for further assistance if they persist or worsen. Labtocin Injection will be administered under medical supervision. It is recommended to be only when there is any medical condition that prevents women to produce labour naturally. The dose and duration will be decided by your doctor as per your condition. Labtocin Injection is not recommended if you are allergic to it. Inform your doctor if you have ever had surgery of the uterus, cesarean section or have a history of premature labour. Also, let your doctor know about all other medicines you are taking as many of these may make this medicine less effective or change the way it works.
