Description

Jp-Cilin 250 MG Capsule is an antibiotic that is used for treating a wide variety of bacterial infections of the lungs and airways, middle ear, sinuses, skin, urinary tract, etc. This medicine is not recommended for treating a common cold, flu, or other viral infections since it is not effective in treating these infections.

General warnings

Drug-resistance

Mononucleosis

This medicine is likely to cause rashes and bumps on the skin if the patient is suffering from Mononucleosis. Usage of this medicine is not recommended in such cases. An alternative treatment option should be considered in some cases based on the clinical condition.

Kidney diseases

This medicine should be used with caution in patients with kidney diseases due to the increased risk of severe adverse effects. Close monitoring of kidney function, appropriate dose adjustments, or replacement with a suitable alternative may be required in some cases based on the clinical condition.

Clostridium difficile-associated diarrhea

Discontinue the use of this medicine as per the doctor's instructions if severe diarrhea occurs after receiving this medicine. This medicine may cause an imbalance in the microbial flora of the large intestine, decreasing the gut-friendly bacteria and promoting the growth of a bacteria called Clostridium difficile, resulting in severe diarrhea.
