Description
Intasam 200 mg Tablet is a natural substance present in the cells of the body. It plays an important role in cell growth and repair. It also helps in the maintenance of hormones that affect mood and behaviour. Intasam 200 mg Tablet may cause side effects such as dizziness, nausea, abdominal pain, diarrhoea/constipation, etc. Consult your doctor if these symptoms persist or worsen. Intasam 200 mg Tablet should be taken exactly as directed by your doctor. Take it at the same time every day to maintain a constant level of this medicine in your body. Intasam 200 mg Tablet should be avoided if you are allergic to it. Inform your doctor if you have a history of mental health problems or vitamin (B12 or B9) deficiencies before beginning treatment with this medicine. Close evaluation with respect to your current medicines is necessary to avoid any undesired side effects. Intasam 200 mg Tablet is not recommended for use in children below 18 years of age. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding or are planning a pregnancy, consult your doctor before taking this medication.

Allergy

Monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs)

Monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) are a class of medicines used to treat depression. Intasam 200 mg Tablet is not recommended if you are on treatment with MAOIs or have taken them in the last 14 days due to the increased risk of severe side effects.

Pregnancy

General warnings

Bipolar disorder

Intasam 200 mg Tablet is not recommended if you have a history of bipolar disorder (a mental health condition characterized by extreme mood swings) due to the increased risk of worsening your condition.

Driving or Operating machines

Intasam 200 mg Tablet may cause dizziness. If you experience any symptoms that may affect your mental alertness, do not drive vehicles or operate machines.

Other medicines
