Description
Grandem 1 Tablet is an antiemetic drug used to prevent nausea and vomiting caused by chemotherapy, radiation therapy. It may also be used for the treatment and prevention of nausea and vomiting associated with surgeries. This medicine is not recommended for use in patients less than 2 years of age.

General warnings

Serotonin Syndrome

This medicine should be used with caution due to the increased risk of serotonin syndrome. This risk is especially higher in patients receiving serotogenic drugs. Report any symptoms such as dizziness, increased heart rate, changes in blood pressure, flushing, vomiting, nausea, diarrhea, etc. to the doctor immediately. Appropriate corrective measures or replacement with a suitable alternative may be necessary based on the clinical condition of the patient.

Other medicines

This medicine may interact with many other medicines and may cause severe adverse effects. Hence, it is advised that you inform the doctor about all your current medicines including any herbs and supplements before beginning treatment with this medicine.

Liver disease

This medicine should be used with caution in patients suffering from liver diseases due to the increased risk of severe adverse effects. Close monitoring of liver function tests is necessary while receiving this medicine. QT Prolongation

This medicine should be used with extreme caution in patients with prolonged QT due to the increased risk of worsening of the patient's condition.
