Description
Esynos 0.05% Nasal Drops is a medicine available in topical forms (cream/ointment/gel/lotion) and as nasal sprays. The topical forms are used to treat skin conditions such as psoriasis (itchy skin with red scaly patches), eczema (thick, dry and itchy skin), and dermatitis (skin irritation). Esynos 0.05% Nasal Drops nasal spray is used to prevent and relieve symptoms of hay fever and other allergies such as sneezing, runny, stuffy, or itchy nose. It is also used to treat nasal polyps (painless growth or swelling in the nose or sinuses). It works by blocking the release of chemical substances in your body. Esynos 0.05% Nasal Drops nasal spray shows side effects like headache, nose/throat irritation, blood in the mucous, unexplained nosebleed, etc. Esynos 0.05% Nasal Drops topical forms may show side effects like burning sensation, irritation, itching, and redness at the site of application. Inform your doctor if these side effects persist or become severe. Esynos 0.05% Nasal Drops is not recommended if you are allergic to it. Inform your doctor if you have any other medical conditions or taking any other medicines. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or are breastfeeding before using this medicine.

Allergy

Recent nasal surgery

Consult your doctor if you have a nose injury or ulcer of the septum (wall dividing the nostrils).

Hyperadrenocorticism

Hyperadrenocorticism is a condition that occurs due to high levels of cortisol hormones (a chemical substance that helps your body respond to stress, regulate blood sugar, and fight infections) in the body. Esynos 0.05% Nasal Drops should be used with caution as it may occasionally cause or worsen hyperadrenocorticism if applied over a large area for a prolonged time.

Infections

Prolonged use of a high dose of Esynos 0.05% Nasal Drops may suppress the activity of your immune system. Hence, this medicine should be used with caution as it may increase the risk of infections or worsen your condition if you have an infection.

Ocular Toxicities

Rarely, Esynos 0.05% Nasal Drops may increase the intraocular pressure (high pressure inside the eye caused by an imbalance in the production and drainage of fluid in the eye) and cause glaucoma (a condition where the pressure within the eyeballs is abnormally high that can damage the optic nerve and lead to loss of vision). Inform your doctor if you experience any vision problems.
