Description
Ergostat Tablet is used for the prevention and control of excessive bleeding after a vaginal delivery. It is not recommended for use unless there is a definite need.

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with a condition called preeclampsia which is characterized by high blood pressure, presence of excess protein albumin in the urine, and swelling of hands, feet, and face.

Cardiovascular diseases

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with a known history of coronary heart disease, peripheral vascular, or hypertension due to the increased risk of worsening of the patient's condition.

Missed Dose

Tablet: Take the missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost the time for your next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not double your dose to make up for the missed dose. Injection: Since this medicine is usually administered by a qualified health care professional in a clinical/hospital setting, the likelihood of a missed dose is very low.
