Description

Elipran 40 Tablet is used to reduce the symptoms of migraine headaches with or without aura in adult patients. It inhibits the release of certain substances that are responsible for causing headaches and sensitivity to sound and light. It should be noted that this medicine does not help in the prevention of migraines and it does not reduce the frequency of migraine attacks.

Allergy

Cardiovascular Disease

Uncontrolled hypertension

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with a history of uncontrolled hypertension due to the increased risk of very high blood pressure levels and hypertensive crisis.

Peripheral vascular diseases

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with a known history of peripheral vascular diseases due to the increased risk of worsening of the patient's condition.

Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with a known history of Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome due to an increased risk of disturbances of the cardiac rhythm.

Severe liver impairment

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients suffering from severe liver function impairment due to the increased risk of serious adverse effects.

Ischemic bowel disease

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients suffering from ischemic bowel disease due to the increased risk of worsening of the patient's condition.

Pregnancy

This medicine is not recommended for use in pregnant women unless absolutely necessary. All the risks and benefits should be discussed with the doctor before taking this medicine.

Breast-feeding

General warnings

Hemiplegic or Basilar migraines

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with Hemiplegic or Basilar migraines. Replacement with a suitable alternative should be considered based on the patient's clinical condition.

High cholesterol levels

This medicine should be used with caution in patients with a known history of high cholesterol levels due to the increased risk of severe cardiovascular side effects.

Medicine overuse

This medicine should not be overused. Overuse of this medicine may cause worsening of the headaches. It should be used exactly as prescribed.

Arrhythmias

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with a known history of arrhythmias due to the increased risk of worsening of the condition. Replacement with a suitable alternative may be necessary in some cases based on the clinical condition of the patient.

Chest, throat, and neck tightness

This medicine should be used with caution due to an increased risk of side effects such as tightness of the chest, throat, and neck. Any such symptoms should be reported to the doctor on priority. Use in pediatrics
