Description

Doxacard 1 mg Tablet is an antihypertensive medicine which is used to treat high blood pressure and relieve symptoms of Benign Prostatic Hypertrophy (prostate enlargement) such as painful urination or urinary urgency. This medicine should be used with caution since it may cause a temporary loss of consciousness due to the sudden decrease in blood pressure (syncope). This medicine is not recommended for use in children.

Contraindications of Doxacard 1 mg Tablet

  • Allergy

    This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with a known allergy to doxazosin or any other quinazolines.

Dosage

  • Missed Dose

    If a dose of Doxacard 1 mg Tablet is missed, take the dose as soon as you remember it. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and take the next dose. Do not double the dose to make up for the missed one.
  • Overdose

How it works
