Allergy

General warnings

Cardiac conduction

This medicine may cause slow heart rates and this effect is more in the patients who are on beta-blockers or digitalis. Close monitoring of heart function is recommended during treatment with this medicine. Liver diseases

This medicine should be used with caution in patients suffering from liver diseases due to the increased risk of serious adverse effects. Close monitoring of liver function is recommended during treatment with this medicine. Skin reaction

This medicine may cause rare but severe skin reactions like Stevens-Johnson syndrome, toxic epidermal necrolysis, erythema multiforme and/or exfoliative dermatitis. Any symptoms of skin rash or itching should be reported to the doctor.
