Dilocor 30 MG Tablet is used for the prevention and long term treatment of angina pectoris which is a type of heart disease characterized by chest pain or pressure and heaviness in the chest.

Allergy

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with a known case of myocardial infarction (blockage of the blood flow to the heart and its muscles)

General warnings

Hypotension

Symptomatic hypotension may occur in patients with volume depletion, aortic stenosis, or patients who are treated with high-dose diuretics. Appropriate corrective measures, dose adjustments, or replacement with a suitable alternative may be required in some cases based on the clinical condition.

Cardiac conduction

This medicine may cause slow heart rates and this effect is more in the patients who are on beta-blockers or digitalis. Close monitoring of heart function is recommended during treatment with this medicine. Appropriate dose adjustments or replacement with a suitable alternative may be required in some cases based on the clinical condition.

Liver impairment

This medicine should be used with caution in patients suffering from liver diseases due to the increased risk of serious adverse effects. Close monitoring of liver function is recommended during treatment with this medicine. Appropriate dose adjustments or replacement with a suitable alternative may be required in some cases based on the clinical condition.

Skin reaction

This medicine may cause rare but severe skin reactions like Stevens-Johnson syndrome, toxic epidermal necrolysis, erythema multiforme and/or exfoliative dermatitis. Any symptoms of skin rash or itching should be reported to the doctor.

Use in children

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients below 18 years of age since the safety and efficacy of use are not clinically established.
